  • The Party facilitates a contest elevating the best, not the best funded. The competition is fair, transparent and open to all, allowing new candidates to enter the arena.

If you’re wealthy enough to buy a seat in Congress, this isn’t for you.

  • Data integrity in mobile applications is not only attainable, it already exists. The Party plans to use the same commercially proven KYC (Know Your Customer) technology to verify identity.

The Party will provide officials to co-monitor and audit the results. “Virtual polling locations” allow constituents to see those participating in their polling location and flag constituents who may have moved or passed away.

  • If we leverage methods and tools developed in employment and, frankly, dating industries, it’s actually not hard to come up with a much better system than our one round public primary.

Potential nominees will be required to state their position on key issues requiring legislation. Constituents have the option of using the “Issue Indicator” to match to potential nominees.

During the early rounds, constituents can endorse the “field” of potential nominees to ensure they advance all who share their views. Once there is a smaller set of choices more time can be spent examining the profiles.

Also, the bar for gaining access to the platform will be high. Potential nominees are required to submit financial data, agree to disclosures and reach a minimum number of endorsements to qualify.

  • A local political committee will be formed in each district to manage the process. The committee will ensure that potential nominees meet Party qualifications and follow the rules.

Although much will be automated, the nominating committee will also support constituent registration and assure data integrity. Nominating committee staff will also support constituents without access or the ability to use the Party app.

  • Caucuses are ideological voting blocs within Congress. Each major party has multiple caucuses which divides their party into factions. There are also caucuses representing groups which may cross political party lines (i.e. regional, ethnic, religious, etc.).

  • The public primary system for President is even more archaic than the primaries used for Congress. Our nominating system easily adapts to incorporate the Presidential race.

Once a critical mass of users is established across all states, our method of reducing the field of potential world leaders will offer constituents multiple opportunities to weigh in. All citizens, regardless of the state they live in, will get to make the same choices.

When participation in our nomination exceeds that of the public primary, the America’s Main Street Party Presidential candidate is no longer a spoiler, but instead the front-runner.

Or, we could leave it up to Iowa.
